Reading the team map

The psymet team map shows your team's working preferences at a glance, with a quadrant map of members and dimension strips for each of the four dimensions.

The team map shows where each member's preferences sit, so a team can see its mix of styles at a glance. It has two views: a quadrant map and a set of dimension strips.

A team map for a seven-person sample team. The quadrant map plots each person by two dimensions you choose, coloured by type group, and the dimension strips below show everyone's score on all four dimensions from 0 to 100.

The quadrant map

The quadrant map places each member in one of four broad groups of types. Clusters show shared preferences; empty areas show styles the team may need to make room for.

Dimension strips

Each strip shows one dimension from 0 to 100, with every member's score marked along it. This view shows spread: whether the team leans one way or covers the whole range.

Using the map in a team conversation

Use the map to ask questions, such as "where might we talk past each other?", rather than to draw conclusions about individuals.
