Coaching cards
Coaching cards are short, structured exercises psymet suggests after a coaching conversation and as a daily practice, credited to the methods' authors.
Coaching cards are short, structured exercises you can use with a colleague, a pair or a team. psymet suggests them at the end of a coaching conversation, offers one solo practice a day, and keeps every card in a library you can browse.
What a card contains
Each card describes one method: a one-line summary, what it is for and why it works, and, where relevant, the materials, numbered steps and debrief questions. Cards also show how long the method takes, how many people it suits, and tips for running it online. Some include a shorter version you can do on your own.
Suggestions after a coaching conversation
When a coaching conversation ends, psymet looks for one or two methods that fit the situation you described and how your preferences compare with your colleague's. Each suggestion comes with a short note on why it was chosen.
If nothing is a good fit, you won't see a suggestion. A method that only loosely matches your situation is less useful than none.
Admins and talent partners who run a pairing also get suggestions for exercises to run with the two people involved.
You can open a suggestion to read the full method, mark it as done once you've used it, and rate how useful it was. If a suggestion isn't relevant, choose Not now to hide it. Recent suggestions you haven't completed or hidden also appear on your dashboard under Suggested for you.
Daily practice
Your dashboard offers one solo practice each day, usually taking 5 to 20 minutes. It is chosen to exercise a preference you draw on less often, and from time to time it follows on from your most recent coaching conversation instead.
After trying it, you can write a short reflection, mark it as done, and rate it. Or skip it, and a new practice will be ready the next day. Your dashboard shows how many days in a row you have completed one.
The methods library
The Methods page lists every available card. You can filter by situation (such as feedback, conflict or planning), by format (solo, pairs or teams) and by how long the method takes, or describe a situation in your own words to search.
Where the methods come from
Cards are adapted from established facilitation practice, including the public SessionLab library. psymet rewrites each method in its own words and keeps its original name. Every card credits the method's author and source, with a link to the original.
Who sees your activity
Your reflections are private to you. Team admins can see how coaching cards are being used across the team, such as how often suggestions are opened and completed and the average rating. They never see an individual's reflections. See Privacy and data.
AI-generated content
psymet uses AI to choose suggestions and to write the note explaining each one. The choice can be imperfect, so use your own judgement about whether a method suits your situation.
AI coaching
The psymet AI coach suggests ways to work well with a specific teammate, based on both of your profiles. Learn what it does, what it doesn't, and its limits.
