# Getting started for team leads
URL: https://psymet.app/docs/getting-started/for-team-leads

To set up a team, create it in psymet, invite your members by email, and wait for them to complete their profiles. Once most of the team has a profile, the team map and coaching become useful.

## Setting up a team

Create your team and give it a name your members will recognise. You can add members at any time.

## Inviting members

Send invitations from within psymet. Each person receives an email and joins the team when they accept.

## Your first team conversation

Once profiles are in, look at the [team map](/docs/concepts/team-map) together. It works best as a starting point for conversation about how people like to work, not as a verdict on anyone.

## Preparing two people to work together

When two people are about to start working closely, such as a new manager and their report, use [Pairings](/docs/for-organisations/pairings) to plan a conversation with each of them.

## Seeing how the team is using psymet

Team admins have an analytics view. One part of it, pair coverage, shows every pair of teammates and whether either has used AI coaching about the other, so you can see where the conversations are happening and who hasn't been included yet.

*Interactive example (sample data, on the web page): Pair coverage for an eight-person sample team, in its first week and a month later. Each cell is a pair of teammates, shaded by whether coaching has happened one way, both ways, not yet, or can't yet because one of them has no profile.*

Analytics also shows how the team is using coaching cards: how often suggested methods are opened and completed, their average rating, and which preferences daily practice has exercised. It shows team-level figures only, never individual reflections. See [Coaching cards](/docs/concepts/coaching-cards).

## Using psymet responsibly

psymet is for development and collaboration. Please read [Responsible use](/docs/for-organisations/responsible-use) before using profiles in any conversation about a person's role.
